Hackathon4Kids is an organization that helps younger kids build strong computer science fundamentals through free face-to-face classes and virtual classes. All donations go towards assisting underprivileged children.
Our curriculum is an introduction to Java programming fundamentals and syntax, as well as more advanced concepts, including object-oriented programming principles. We start from the very foundations—no experience is required!
We host virtual classes utilizing Google Meet and Google Classroom with a specialized curriculum to engage students, providing both beginner and intermediate courses to better fulfill the needs of our students.
Though not currently available in the quarantine, we have gained success with our in-person classes at various locations in the Bay Area.
